About OEM HATS

Have a hat design in mind, but not every production detail worked out?

We help you turn reference photos, artwork and product ideas into a clearer brief for sampling and production. You can start with what you already have.

OEM HATS is a headwear development website operated by Baoding Brim Apparel Co., Ltd. in Baoding, China, as part of BDBRIM Headwear.

Who we are

A place to work through the details

Some buyers have a complete tech pack. Others have a cap photo and a logo. Either is enough to begin: we can work out which measurements, files and choices are still missing.

Our role is to identify what is already clear and what still needs a choice, measurement or artwork file. We can discuss the options, but we would rather flag a missing detail than quote a version you did not intend.

For the workshop, production team and company background, see About BDBRIM.

Two websites · one business

BDBRIM describes our manufacturing operation. OEM HATS focuses on the conversations and sample decisions that happen before an order is ready for production.

OEM HATS is not presented as a separately registered factory.
Starting your project

Begin with the reference you have

A picture can show the style you want, but it might not tell us the crown depth, brim length or the actual logo size. We ask about the details that could change the first sample or quotation.

A useful first message might include:

  • Cap style or reference photos
  • Artwork or logo file, if ready
  • Approximate order quantity
  • Destination and target timing

You do not need a finished tech pack for the first conversation.

Reviewing the sample

The details that need agreement

We may suggest practical choices for materials, structure or decoration. The final appearance and sample specification are yours to approve. A mockup helps discuss the look; it cannot confirm how the cap fits or how its inside finish feels.

We prefer changes that affect the product to be confirmed in writing, with the correct photo or file attached. It keeps the buyer and production team referring to the same version.

One anonymized development note shows how a detailed product description still needed missing artwork before an exact quotation could be prepared.

Clear expectations

We confirm what applies to your order

Minimum quantities, sampling costs, production time and delivery options vary with the style, materials, decoration and approvals. We review the actual requirements before confirming these details; there is no single promise that fits every hat.

If you have an existing sample to reproduce, measurements and clear photos are especially useful. If you are developing something new, we can start by listing the unanswered questions.

Need to see more?

Our development notes describe real questions from anonymized projects: missing artwork, sample requirements and other decisions buyers needed to make.

These are working examples, not testimonials or promises about every project.
