When Vector Artwork Becomes the Missing Piece

Sometimes the next factory step is not waiting on fabric or sampling. It is waiting on the correct artwork file.

Can artwork hold up development?

Yes. Two separate project records show the next step waiting on final vector artwork.

Two different dependencies

ProjectWhat was waiting for the file
Perforation developmentAn Adobe Illustrator (AI) vector file was still needed before the perforation application could continue through technical review.
Multi-design trial orderThe buyer planned to send final vector artwork for each design so digital mockups and the quotation could be prepared.

The required file depends on the next job

These records do not support one universal artwork checklist for every hat. They do show a practical rule for buyers: ask what the next task is. A technical perforation review and a quotation/mockup stage can both need vector artwork, but for different reasons.

Record note: brand names, private file names and contact details have been removed.
